Training for ladders, steps, small and mobile scaffolds

Training as a competent person for ladders, steps and mobile scaffolds

This spring, euroline was once again able to offer and conduct a training course for competent inspectors of ladders, working steps and mobile scaffolds.

The event took place at the MEDIAN Hotel in Lehrte near Hanover, where the participants found excellent conditions.
The seminar was led by our partner Uwe Holicka, who is a publicly sworn expert for access technology and has many years of experience in this field.

The target of such training is to prevent accidents at work in practice by appropriately trained personnel. Both the professional inspection of access equipment and its proper use according to BetrSichV and DGUV play an major role.

The dangers of ladders, steps and mobile scaffolds are often underestimated. This awareness in particular was addressed on this day and became more present among the participants. Mr. Holicka repeatedly underlined potential dangers by pointing out practical examples.

Companies are obliged to designate a person who has to inspect the access equipment at regular intervals to ensure that it is in perfect condition and who can sensitise employees to possible risks.

Successful participation in the seminar offered qualifies persons to test ladders, steps and mobile scaffolds in accordance with the guidelines. This was confirmed to each participant with a corresponding certificate.
