Inception DIN EN 1090-3
Norm DIN EN 1090-3 succesfully implemented
For euroline GmbH Friedrich Schlichte it is a very important concern, to fulfill all requirements of the customers regarding our products and company. The until recently valid Norm of steel constructions
DIN 18800 and the Norm for aluminum constructions DIN 4113 have been replaced by a common one, the
DIN EN 1090. This Norm defines higher requirements with regard to mechanical strength, stability, usability and durability. It therefore fulfills especially high-level requirements. DIN EN 1090-3 requires that works are carried out with the necessary expertise and technically faultless equipment. Therefore our customer‘s requirements to our products comply with the requirements of DIN EN 1090-3 and our own requirements. The aim of the certification therefore represented the next logical step for us.
Already at the beginning of 2016, we started with first preparations on an administrative level, in order to begin the coming year with a valid certification. These included mainly the analysis of the processes for the various in-house processes, the definition of tasks to be carried out and the verification of the current production-accompanying documents for the production process.
After the basic analyzes, definitions and verifications have been concluded, the introduction of relevant tasks into the operating schedule could be started in the next step. These included essentially:
◦ Constructions according to requirements of DIN EN 1090-3
◦ Expansion of factory production control by norm-relevant points
◦ Appointment of welding supervisor
◦ Ensurance of complete documentation
◦ Further development of the technical inspection of used equipment
◦ Handling with harmonized standards such as DIN EN ISO 14731 and others
At the end of last year, DVS Zert GmbH carried out the relevant certification. We are very pleased to announce that we received the certification without deviations. So we are available to our customers as a competent manufacturer of aluminum constructions. Due to the comprehensive certification, all our customers, including those from the sector of “aluminum ladders”, are finally benefiting of DIN EN 1090-3.
As you can see, "the safe ascent" is a guiding principle that is lived.
